🍵 Ambiance & Atmosphere The restaurant has a beautiful rooftop setting with panoramic views over the city and its illuminated minarets at night. The colorful lights and Moroccan mosaics create a unique and cozy environment. It’s a perfect place to enjoy the city’s charm after sunset.
🧉 Food & Drinks Their Moroccan mint tea is served in tall glasses, fresh with plenty of mint leaves, and accompanied by sugar cubes in the traditional style. It’s flavorful, refreshing, and beautifully presented. The tables are decorated with traditional zellige tiles, adding a true Moroccan identity to the dining experience.

Read moreWhat a lovely experience. We ate on the rooftop midday, which would be hot but the breeze and the view made it the perfect spot to have lunch. We felt welcome on arrival. The service was personal and we felt at home. We ordered the Moroccan starter which was 3 small dishes of smoked aubergines, roasted peppers and roasted pumpkin. All had there own distinct flavour and was delightful with the crispy bread to mop up the flavours and sauce. Our main was the chicken tagine with preserved lemon. The flavour was very good although I would have preferred a more succulent part of the chicken. Overall a wonderful lunch in a delightful setting with friendly service. I couldn't ask for anything more. Do make sure you try this restaurant out. Prices for 2 people with drinks, shared starters and mains was 150, fantastic for the high quality of everything. It's also a nice walk through the interesting narrow way to get to the restaurant. I would love to return and try the other dishes as I can imagine I wouldn't be...
Read moreAs is customary with traditional places, you have to knock to be let in. The host is extremly kind and makes you feel right at home. The establishment offers indoor seating in a gorgeously decorated interior, but I opted for outdoor seating on the top of the riad. You can see the whole of medina and new city of Meknes from the terrace and on a clear day, you can even see the roman architectural site of Volubilis. The menu consists of traditional Moroccan dishes (tajine, couscous, harirra...). l tried the soup, couscous and chicken pastilla and it was amazing in its unique traditional flavour. I was given a complementary starter, traditional Meknes marmelade and mint tea poured the traditional way. I was even given a tour of the main room and traditional hammam that will be open to public soon. I cannot overstate the owner and his sons hospitality and would recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Moroccan experience in regards to food, view and...
