Excellent food and environment, very original concept for the city of Maputo. While it is a great restaurant, there is also an amazing art gallery where you can view works from artists from all over Mozambique. You can tell the owner cares not only about what's on your plate, but the experience you have while at the restaurant.

The restaurant has both outdoor and indoor seating. The hosts and restaurant owners are extremely nice and sociable, ensuring that you have a great time and attentive to what you need while at the restaurant. I ate outdoors & ordered the spaghetti bolognaise, which is by far one of the best I've had in Maputo. My partner had a shrimp and coconut curry dish and he wiped the bowl clean. And had a good time, it’s chill and you can order some drinks, I trust that is great for breakfast and small lunches as well. I didn’t eat but the menu has some quite affordable prices.

There is a continuous background music that gets you in the flow while working on stuff. If you want to use the place for work of course. To eat as well, good place if you want to have a conversation over business and all.

There is an inside and outside area. And the waiters are quite adaptable towards your requests. Super friendly fellas.

Parking spot is limited but you can always park nearby at the bank or in the middle of the street without much worries.

Had a lovely experience at Nyau! Visited about 3 times now, the first time to check out the space, and the second to sit down for lunch the third i for sure enjoyed it a bit more. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, with a rustic-chic interior that gives it a unique charm. Service was on point on both visits, attentive without being too much.
