Cafés Dibar - Kan Bae Branch — Restaurant in Yangon

Hi! As usual I wanna share my experience in this restaurant. I hope reading this before visiting Dibar will help you.

Firstly I'm a big fan for Dibar in San Chaung, this will be my first time experience at Dibar Kabar aye road..

Place/environment outside: parking space is available for 6-7 cars. It's a bit sunny, no shelter and crowded.

Environment inside: I sweated so much inside. There is air con, but it's not enough. My partner and I had to finish our food quickly and leave. We were so tired from sweating, noises from other customers and it was busy. We did not feel very comfortable or relaxing at all.

Food: it was good.. generally. Honestly I liked the food better in San Chaung.. maybe because over there, I could enjoy my food in better and cooler environment and it was more quiet. At least we could talk and relax.. enjoy our food slowly.

Suggestion: I suggest the restaurant to have better air conditioner. Moreover, more distance between the seats will be better. I do not enjoy hearing conversations from other tables as well as them hearing me.

Anyways, with raining season.. I bet the rooms have better air conditioning. I hope my review helps! Thanks...

Food is good in their own way. Nevertheless, the service is absolutely horrendous. We came in as a party of eight during peak hour dinner time. They don’t know how to run a restaurant; the management needs a lot of improvement if they care to establish a good business in the long run.

To start of, they can’t prepare utensils for everyone. We had to ask 3 times to different staff just to have a full set of spoon, fork, plate for everybody. I personally had to ask different servers 5 times just to get water served for our table. I had to repeat twice to get our water refilled during dining. Of course they miss out our orders with that kind of bad and inattentive attitude from them. I overheard from two other tables canceling their orders because they didn’t get their food as well. Last, but not least, we had to ask multiple times for our bill.

Overall, I suggest you to dine elsewhere if you are looking for good dining experience. Their food is not worth...

I ordered grilled fish, caesar salad, italian chicken sausage and orange juice. I told them I wanted the orange juice with no sugar. The girl that took the order said their orange juice don’t come with sugar so I was like perfect. And when I went to get the order they gave me pumpkin soup instead of the orange juice. The rest of the order was correct though. So I called them to ask why they gave me a pumpkin soup instead of orange juice the girl said the girl that took the order got it wrong and it’s her that was talking on the phone I remembered the voice. And she asked me are you okay? I said I am not okay because I have to drink pumpkin soup instead of orange juice now. And she kept saying that their side is wrong and I hung...
