I never knew this place until one friend suggested. The place was really small, I never knew there was a hidden small restaurant on Pyay Road. Here is my review. Hope it helps.
Food: I ordered fried chicken with rice which came with onion salad and radish salad. It was interesting combination of food for me. Overall, it was very delicious. Chicken was crispy and salads were freshly made.
Atmosphere: the place is really small. It had crowded 4 tables altogether to fit 15-20 people. The ceiling was close to my head as well and I am not very tall person. In my opinion, I felt a bit suffocated. I wish the ceiling and the ground had more space so, there is more air to breathe for crowded customers. It was noisy, crowded and suffocating in my experience.
Service: even though the place was small, waiters were very busy. Maybe it was because it was lunch time. Waiters were all in black and with black masks.
In summary, I liked the food there. If I were to visit again, I would just go there for food. This is not a place for a good chat meeting. I did not have a good experience visiting here to catch up with an old friend. None of us could hear well of each other inside the place.
Anyway, cheers. I hope my review hells. Thanks for...
Read moreSmall cafe. Always full with people. Price are not bad. The portions are huge. Tried there twice. Ordered Japan Style Prawns bacon pasta, fried bacon with mashed potatoes, Bacon & ham pasta and fries. The waiting time is around 30 mins. I'm not sure about other dishes.
Prawns bacon pasta is literally my fav. You should try it. Kinda new for me.
Bacon an ham pasta not recommend. Not really my taste. Their appetizer are nof really worth the prices.
I don't feel comfortable with their staffs. I can understand that it's their job giving services. I went there alone both times and feel very uncomfortable. Like always watching me. Let's normalize eating alone. :)
Over all 3 stars. It would be nice they can make a bit faster for pastas. Also they tables are close to each others. If you want quiet place, it's definitely...
Read moreI used to go to this place frequently, but yesterday was really unpleasant. I had order grilled chicken with noodles, while eating I noticed a medical used band aid sticked on the grill plate just below the chicken.
On informing the staff they accepted their mistake. The excuse they came up with was that the people who cut meat wear to protect their fingers, which was not correct. The band aid was used one as there was blood stain in it.
Over the years I have had food from many places but never have I ever heard or seen a used band aid inside the food.
Yesterday was the last time for me at Delicacy Bistro, never going back there again. Also, would advise all to check your food before you eat at...
