As a Japanese food lover, i was not disappointed. The ambiance is good, a bit dim and gloomy, but i like the dark theme. The top down lights give u warm and cozy feeling despite the dark walls. The white trims here and there contrast nicely as well. Tables are well allocated, not crowded, not too far apart. Food is very good. We took the buffet option, since we were quite hungry. Went there during lunch hour, not crowded, on a week day. Since we were casually stopping by, and didnt want our clothes to get smell, they entertained our request to grill for us and served the done food on plates. This service of course was available because not much customers, if crowded, u need to do it urself. We appreciate it very much indeed, since im quite lazy to do things myself. The drinks and à la carte stuffs are charged in USD, but the buffet itself is in MMK. The exchange rate is not exorbitant, in fact very reasonable. Sashimi is fresh, and so is the rest. Servings are not a lot but its buffet, u can always order more. They do charge for food wastage but u have to be very irresponsible for that to happen, and u deserve it IMHO. The beefs could be more tender and higher grade, but it was still okay....ish. staffs are attentive as well. They do have private rooms, some free of charge, some chargeable. Reservation isn't needed but encouraged, it can be quite crowded sometimes. I will return for à la...
Read moreMy colleagues and I were there on Tuesday evening, 06 May 2025. No advance booking was needed. If your group has up to 6 people, can get a private room without any extra charge. There’s also a current promotion: come 6, Pay 5. So, it cost 165,000 MMK per person, including taxes. Honestly, the temperature inside the restaurant was quite hot. From my pov, the restaurant’s standard should be higher than it is now. This was my 1st time visiting, so I don’t know what it was like in past. The sauce they served was Japanese-style mainly soy sauce which I found quite salty. The marinated meat was also. If you’re very Asian like me, you might want to bring your own bottle of seafood sauce for a lighter, clearer flavor. As a vegetarian me, I found that there weren’t many options to choose from. For The people who love Sashimi for the main reason, this is a must go. But...
Read moreWe had Yakiniku today. They announced on Telegram that it's better to book in advance. Everything was fresh and we really had a great time here. The waitress explained to us in details about what we wanted to know the menu. Whenever we rang the bell, she would come within 3 seconds. She also came to collect the last order when our time was nearly up. You can pay by card or cash. For Yakiniku, it's 43,000 kyats per person and 15,000 kyats additional charges for drinks including beer, red/white wine, lemon sour, orange juice, tea and water. For Shabu Shabu, it's 39,000 kyats. Personally, after eating the same thing in CHO restaurant, I'd recommend this restaurant as the beef was so fresh and tender and the price is half cheaper. I'd definitely...
