Oriental House (Myoma Kyaung St) — Restaurant in Yangon

I was recommended to drop by this place for dim-sum. It was quite disappointing. When you entered the restaurant, you will be greeted and walked to your table. You will be served about 10 bamboo steamers of different dim-sum choices. You dont have to eat them all. The waitress will take them back if you do not eat (unhygienic). The taste is not that good, if you are a usual dim sum diner. The meat tastes very bland. The hot tea was fine. The toilet is very clean.

The restaurant is a huge building directly at the end of the road after you pass Indonesia embassy. The second floor of the building is an event hall, you can organize your party or wedding here. There are limited parking slots. It is advisable...

The quality of the food dropped over time. Been patronising the restaurant since young but they couldn't maintain the same food quality. Some of the dim sums served were cold. It would be nice to have the dim sum cart going around the tables for customers to choose hot food at their tables. Would highly recommend the restaurant to use a better chinese tea (that is chargeable). The variety of dim sum is quite limited. Overall nice atmosphere with many seating...

Previously had a bad review but this time's quite different from the last time ... Much better service and the dim sums are much more better this time ... Definitely should try if u are looking for a decent breakfast...they also have a wide variety of chinese foods which are really great and best shared with friends and family....
