Disappointing. I almost never give 1 star but this restaurant doesn’t deserve better. It seems and pretends to be a good restaurant but it’s not. First of all- food is ok, but not spectacular. I liked mashed potatoes and eggplant but for this price I expect something much better. Prices are much too high. You can find same food few times cheaper. Chicken for 15.000 - VERY expensive in Myanmar. We ordered it waiting for something exceptional, but it was just an avarage chicken. It doesn’t include rice. So in the end you have to pay extra for a small bowl of rice, SERIOUSLY?? That’s a good restaurant? Thank god we don’t have to pay for the restroom. Aha, and they charge 10% for service and 5% tax in the end. Just FYI.
Second- When paying by card, you can’t pay in MMK, only USD-only by their exchange rate to USD (1480=1$, which was 1550 that day)And restaurant policy is to round upward! Ridiculous and unacceptable.
Third-service is proper but should be better. Not that important but in this kind of restaurant they should speak better English. And please don’t take my plate before I finish.
We had Shan food a couple of times during our stay in Myanmar and like it so much, but unfortunately were very disappointed with this restaurant. Overall the experience was pretty bad. Food is ok, but the most special factor here is its price, not quality and not a good vibe in...

The menu offers a wide variety of delicious Shan-style dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Everything is well-prepared, flavorful, and true to traditional tastes. They also serve Shan wine, which is a great complement to the meal. The service is outstanding—staff members are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. On top of all this, the prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the quality of food and service. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Shan cuisine in a welcoming...
Read moreI am not knowledgeable about the food. I was too afraid to order. It is difficult here not speaking Shan or Burmese. The server approached me, and I think I insulted her by smiling and saying "Hello." My menu was taken away from me. I sat awkwardly for 30 minutes or so watching Bundesliga highlights. Then I left quietly, and one of the servers opened the door to usher me out. I want to say that I am sorry. I am sorry for being awkward and so old and white and ugly. I am sorry for not eating here. Afterward I wanted to step in front of a speeding bus and to be killed for my generalized human incompetence. I do not deserve to dine in the...
