Fishy Corner Restaurant — Restaurant in Henties Bay

While the place was packed(obviously a sign of the quality) we sat and prepaired ourself for the wait as they made it quite clear... ( henties is a small town and the influx of vistors is immense over the festive season, they cater to smaller concentrated arrivals during the year) we ordered starters and sushi, all excellent... i had been looking to eat cob(kabeljou) all holiday, as the owners husband is a renouned fisher man and tour guide they obviously had cob and man, this was so good... the size of that fish blew my mind and i had to suck off the last bist from the bones... tartar sause also hit all the spots...

A definite must visit if you are in the area....

Made a reservation, but had no table allocated when we got there. I had to show the waitress an open table to ask if we could sit there. Then waited 2 hours for our food along with several other people who ordered but didn't get their food till we all were standing in front of the kitchen waiting for our orders to come out. Didn't see our waitress for 40 minutes with no indication of why the food was taking so long or how much longer it would be. Unfortunately we did not enjoy lunch here as much as expected. The food was good, but we had to wait 90 minutes before the food arrived, without a notice. This is way too long for any restaurant. When we complained about this, the waitress came up with all kinds of weak excuses, such as it being very busy - the place was about 3/4 full - and the fish being ready, but the chips needing to be prepared.
