Skubbe Pub & Grill — Restaurant in Henties Bay

We went there for New Years Eve. Made a reservation for four people early in the morning, but it was surprisingly quiet that evening at 20:00. We had terrible service. We waited an hour for our starters to arrive and then another half hour for our main. We were really let down. There were others who arrived shortly after we did and they had also waited a very long time for their food to come. I have no idea why the service was so bad, considering that it wasn't so busy. I would not recommend. Try Misty Bay...

In general a nice place, service good, staff friendly and helpful. Menu very good, pricing a bit on the high side, and I was a bit disappointed that I still had to pay for the takeaway containers, after what I paid for the meals, and bought soft drinks while I was waiting. Will however give it another shot next...
