Dry, tasteless and the mince is watery and just bad. Service is by far the worst I have experienced in Namibia. My son did not even eat his kabeljou and dry calamari …and that is his staple no matter where he goes in the world.
I know service is slower in Namibia, but this was by far the worst. The only positive thing I have to say is that it wasn’t racist, even though we were the only non-white people there. EVERYONE WAITED A LONG TIME FOR FOOD.

Read moreThis. Place. 🙌🏼 Five stars isn't even fair! So we went there for some lunch and got the best reception during our three weeks stay in Namibia. The staff were very friendly and kind, and helped us when we wanted to change table in the restaurant. The food was really good. My mother ordered a bacon cheeseburger, my husband a stew and I ordered fish. They checked on us and made sure that we enjoyed our food. It was so damn good that the next day we took a detour just so we could eat breakfast there and even ordered food to go. If you are visiting the coast or wherever in Namibia, you really should take the time and visit Misty Bay ✨

Flies a bit of a problem and outdoor benches could do with a coat of paint or varnish but still really great value for money! I live in Swakopmund and would recommend Misty Bay Cafe to any tourist as a genuine "local Café" with prices locals can afford. Thank you, Misty Bay, for keeping going through the tough Covid times.
