The Barrels Restaurant is a step back in time and the originality has been kept as it was back when it was first built. The vibe is great and homely. They also offer accommodation next door and the meals and prepared with love. They do however need to give the furniture you sit on a good deep clean as that also seems to have kept the smell of years of people sitting on these items. All in all a good place to hang out...

Very slow service, had to ask twice to finally receive my order. They don't cater to special dietary needs such as vegetarian or gluten intolerant. I can't recommend the chef's special, the Bolognese spaghetti had nothing to do with the original meal. As for the atmosphere, it is nothing but a loud and smoky stinky basement.
