Baishnab Sweets Mega Outlet — Restaurant in Bharatpur

A dedicated spot for vegetarian food. You could call this a local chain since they have a few outlets around Chitwan area. But here is my experience:

Momo ~ Why does it taste like the veggies were massaged in turmeric? Plus, the achaar could use some piro-amilo treatment.

Puri Tarkari Jeri ~ So far, so good. However, the Baishnab outlet at Tandi is where you should go if you want a bigger portion of Tarkari ;)

Sweets ~ Nothing to complain about; spectacularly good.

Dosa ~ Crispy and light as it should be, but the accompanying sambar was way too sour and salty.

Chole Bhature ~ This is a good thing to order here, but the amount of Chhole is way too less for 2 bhaturas. Who else has this complain?

Naan and Paneer Butter Masala ~ Better than most places in Chitwan.

Mushroom Chilly ~ Must try! Really good!

I'm writing to express my significant disappointment regarding a recent experience at what used to be my absolute favorite restaurant. For a long time, this etablishment has been my go-to, and I've always appreciated the quality and service. However, today, June 24, 2025, I had a very upsetting incident.

I ordered the veg thali, priced at Rs. 350, and was looking forward to my meal. Unfortunately, as I was eating, I discovered a fly in the lentil. As you can imagine, this was incredibly off-putting and immediately ruined my appetite. It's truly heartbreaking when a place you trust for good food falls short in such a fundamental way, especially concerning hygiene.

I have visited the old outlet in the main Bazar but I had yet to try something from this outlet. So out of the box I tried panner chilly pizza , it was okay-ish. Nothing special , the large size is actually small. Tried samosa as well ,puri tarikari. Samosa is actually really good here. The main problem is customer service which is so poor. The staff don't really care. Most of them are rude. There are many reviews where people say the same , but I really faced it. It took around 15 minutes for them to serve the dishes.
