This restaurant has come a long way since my last visit! The food has taken a massive leap forward in terms of quality and flavor. Plus, the ambiance and the view are unbeatable. Sitting here, you're treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the valley, making it a truly special dining experience. The sunset was phenomenal from this spot! A special shoutout to their mustang aloo. It was absolutely delicious and deserves a high recommendation. However, the portion size compared to the price leaves a bit to be desired. I’ve stayed here on and off for a month while joining activities at Tergar Monastery.

The hosts are super friendly, kind and welcoming. We’ve developed a good friendship and I’m sure I’ll be back as I intend to keep coming to the monastery.

Location is excellent - good view and clean air compared to downtown, yet so close to the city centre.

The food is very fresh and is more like home made than restaurant made. Tasty and nutritious.

They offer good options for long term stays for Buddhist practitioners coming to Tergar Osel Ling.
