Himalayan Readers' Corner — Restaurant in Pokhara

Books, coffee, cozy place and staffs❤. These four words will justify the Himalayan Readers' Corner. Like what would wish for more. A quiet place surrounded by lots of book, and smiling staff serving you good coffee. It has been my second home. Whenever I'm in Pokhara I love to visit this place. Food are also very decent. You'll replace any other food-joints when you had food of this place. My favourite food is chatpat and jhol momo oh! How can I forget popcorn? Its amazing. I wish they will start adding some cheese in it then that will kill definitely. Enough with the food. You can also get free hall. Isn't it amazing. So if I had to call for meeting I'll choose readers' corner. Actually I never had read a book before I visit that place but now I don't know whether I like books or that place. I often visit this place and start reading books. I have completed reading some of Paulo Coelho's book recently I'm enjoying Brida❤. Its a perfect place for playing chess. I love when people play real chess rather than on virtual thing. And if you are one of them who loves chess then you should definitely visit this place. I just love this place so visit this place you'll know...

While on a walk to Bhat Bhateni grocery store, I came across on the busy road this hidden gem. My girlfriend and I decided to check it out and see what this place was. We were surprised that it was a nice book reading cafe. Very welcoming atmosphere, professional staff, and delicious food! Chow mein, soup, lemonade and chat pot were very tasty and the portions are good for the price.

If you're ever on New Road, or heading to Bhat Bhateni and want a quiet place to read a book and have a drink, this is the place to be. There are too many new cafes with no personality like Starbucks. This place is unique and has a way better atmosphere :). Nepal needs more of these cool places instead of the generic Starbucks copycat...

This is where i buy most of my books from. The thing I like most about this shop is that all the books are maintained in good condition. The shop is small and has many books but could use a larger variety of books. The owner along with the staff is friendly and will even take orders. You can just write down the books you want and your number and he will just buy them for you and call you to collect them.
