Treasure — Restaurant in Almere

The all-you-can-eat menu, unlike other places, lacks certain kinds of dishes like tako nigiri, ebi nigiri, gunkan, dim sum, and so on which I find quite a shame. The service we had was super slow, 25 minutes waiting on average for each sushi order. My partner and I did not even get certain dishes we ordered. We did complain to the staff and were told to place another order for the same dish. Taking into consideration it took them so long for our other orders and the table behind us got doubled order as they placed another order when the food did not arrive, we just skipped that dish. In the end, after more than 2 hours, we gave up waiting for the last sushi order (it never arrived even when we were having dessert). Certain orders were even brought to the wrong table next to us. In the end, it killed the whole mood for us both. Compared with other all-you-can-eat sushi I have been to, this restaurant was more expensive for a more disappointing experience. We would not come back here again.

Great servers. Ours was friendly and great with recommendations. She offered us the à la carte or fixed price menu immediately. We took à la carte, which was excellent. You can eat outside, inside the conservatory ir inside the cosy restaurant. There's lots of room and service was quick and attentive. Fresh, real food in tasty sauces. I loved my soup starter and can recommend the Kung Po prawns. But my husband's Basil Chicken was also a hit. Both bottles of wine we chose were also excellent - the Chardonnay and a Pinot Noir. E200 for 3 courses for 4 diners with 3x wine, 2x Spa water and 2x tonic water. IMO good value and all made by the friendly, professional waiting staff and excellent chefs. We came here with our dog for some food and had the Kong Po Ngau and the Babi Mix. For drinks we ordered the Blue Lagoon and the Passion. The food and drinks were good with generous portions, but the service was really slow, although there was nearly no one there when we first arrived. We waited quite a while till we received the menu cards, after that we had to wait till he came to get our order. The food arrived fast but then it took a long time till we were able to get the check. When we asked if we could get the remaining food for take away, the manager said that‘s possible but no one came to get the food. So we had to ask a server again to pack up the food for us.
