Verhage Amersfoort — Restaurant in Amersfoort

Disappointing. We ordered food (and got informed quite rudely that coupons are not being accepted), got the coaster that was supposed to blink - it didn't. We waited outside, so after 20 minutes I went back in and asked where the food was. It was standing under the heating lamp. Answer was that they called out the coaster 6 times and we didn't come - I saw staff coming out multiple times to help the customers outside - couldn't they ask if someone was waiting for order? Weird thinking for a snackbar with food to go.

Food was of course barely warm when we got home. Next to it the burgers were too salty and the cucumbers tasted like they were washed in soap - that ruined the salad and the burgers.

We are not coming back...

Food is ok and concept well thought but staff is not senior enough and interferences of local youth is clouding my experience. Local youth is too much present in the snackbar and it seems they view it as one of their local chill spots. This is emphasized by trespassing people waiting in line, unpolitely adressing staff to give them their ordering quickly (often one icecream etc). A waste and unnecessary...

Wij kwamen hier regelmatig, leuke gezellige snackbar met vriendelijk personeel maar het gaat de laatste tijd met rasse schreden achteruit. Gisteren zijn we er nog één keer geweest maar dit was de allerlaatste keer. Er staan 6 jonge pubers achter de balie die het niet snappen en een instelling hebben van, is het al tijd om naar huis te gaan. Bestellingen gaan fout, geen bestek en dan vraag je er om krijg je één vork voor twee personen. Eén wat oudere man die ook bij Verhage werkt zit buiten op het terras zo hard in het buitenlands te bellen dat de hele straat het kan horen (leek wel ruzie) Tafels zijn niet afgeruimd vol etensresten en andere troep. Je plakt vast aan de vloer van het vet en de viezigheid, overal patat en andere etensresten (echt smerig) En personeel is druk met elkaar of met vriendjes die langs komen. Zonde dat je een mooie snackbar zo hard achteruit laat gaan, waar is de leiding in deze vestiging!! Hoop oprecht dat Verhage hier actie op gaat ondernemen anders zie ik het somber...
