Daawat Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Amstelveen

My visit today Dawaat Restaurant left me extremely shocked. I came after dinner to have some dessert with a friend visiting me. The dessert was very average. We ordered gulab jamun and rasmalai for 11 euros . Firstly not worth the price. But okay !

The staff was speaking to us English and going bro , you can’t be here . Eat and leave in 5 minutes or order something else. We were there may be 20 minutes and still eating. Gulab jamun was served cold and we had to ask him to heat it.

I have never in my life experienced such rudeness. You go to restaurant not to be kicked out.

When speaking in Hindi and Punjabi he was pretending that he does not understand us. 2 minutes later owner came and he was speaking Hindi and Punjabi fluently.

the staff's rude attitude was the real letdown. Instead of addressing our concerns politely, they demanded we order more or leave within five minutes. This lack of professionalism ruined our dining experience entirely. Unfortunately, I won't be returning to Dawaat Restaurant. I hope they improve their customer service for...

My friends and I ordered here for the first time! And we decided that this is going to be the last time we're doing this mistake!

They took more than an hour to deliver the food.. having the restaurant not so far from our neighborhood!

But the most disappointing factor was, the spices which they used in their food! Even the instant spices which are available in the local India stores would taste better instead of what they offer!

I strongly recommend not to choose Daawat restaurant as your option, if you're looking...

Ordered some take away tonite: Chicken Tandoori, Papadums, Mango Lassi, Plain Naan Very fast and friendly delivery Food arrived well packaged with the appropriate temperature . All the ordered items tasted great and the portions were generous. The only minus were the sauces delivered with the chicken: Very watery and really tasteless. Will order again in future. Hope issue with the accompaniments...
