Having lived in the area for many years and not having visited this restaurant, we thought it was time to try it out. Well, I have to say we have been missing out! The bar/restaurant has a fantastic family-friendly atmosphere, and we were made to feel welcome the minute we entered. The staff are really pleasant and attentive. The night we went, there was a live singer, Ivanildo Kembel, who was excellent and a real crowd pleaser. There is an area by the stage where people were dancing and enjoying the great vibe.
So, on to the restaurant: the menu was very good. We had gambas pil pil as a sharing starter, and they have to be the nicest prawns we've tasted in a while. I had a fresh tunasteak for my main course which was cooked to perfection.
After dinner we returned to the bar area, where we had a couple of drinks whilst listening to the singer, who was followed by a DJ.

Gisteren geweest in de middag. 4 man personeel, allemaal achter de bar. Gasten naast ons moesten moeite doen om af te rekenen, 5 tafels incl onze tafel in de glazen pui gewoon nog vies van de lunch i guess.
Personeel wat totaal geen horeca-gevoel of inzicht heeft, twintigers die maar wat doen en denken dat alles maar neerkomt op een biertje tappen en deze brengen.
Op een gegeven moment werden de gasten naast ons bot gevraagd of ze ergens anders konden gaan zitten want de serveerster moest de tafel opdekken voor andere gasten. En ow sorry hoor! Gênant gewoon. Kunnen nog een hoop leren. Zet er dan een ervaren iemand bij.
