R Haan Thai Thai — Restaurant in Amstelveen

FINALLY!! A super mega authentic Thai restaurant opened for business in Amstelveen! I am Malaysian, I know my Thai! I found out about them just 2 weeks ago and I’ve already ordered from them 4 times! The food is scrumptious every time. The chicken wings - to die for! Chicken spring roll - omg delicious (and hello! These are homemade and not the usual frozen ones you get served in most Asian restaurants in NL). I’ve tried their pad see iew, their red curry fish and yellow curry fish, every single dish was outstanding! What I especially appreciate is these people read their order notes! I asked for super spicy and they give me super spicy! I asked to exclude certain vegetables, and i can’t a strand of those veggies in my food.

They forgot my chicken wings in one of my orders and they caught it before I even notice, and what did they do? They delivered the chicken wings AND they gave me some free spring rolls for the mix up. That’s the very first time I tried their spring rolls and I am just hooked from then and now it is a staple in all of my orders.

I’ve ordered from Ubereats and their own website before and they’ve all been delivered in record time. My food still arrives piping hot in this winter weather.

I now have no motivation to cook and really have to fight off the urge to not order from them everyday (if money is not an issue I would!)

Finally, to whoever who does the packing in this restaurant, hats off to you, everything is so beautifully packed, the hand written notes etc are all greatly appreciated.

I will be ordering from them at least once or twice every week.

P/s: my French bf who is impossible to please is also completely sold and looooove their food!

Great experience! I was searching for a place to celebrate a family occasion with kids and wanted a bit relaxed place. Looking at the reviews I thought this would be decent place and decided to try. There is a lot of parking nearby and had decent reviews. Place was empty when we were there (good for us considered having toddlers). Greeted with smile and we ordered some starters and main dishes. Everything seemed to be fresh and the service was great. Thai curry was amazing and the only downside I had was the dish i ordered was bit too sweet but you can mentioned it to be moderate or spicy which I forgot. Lot of veggies and the beef was really tender and amazing. So except the sweet part that was really good. You can order almost all dishes in veg version and chicken beef and shrimps are just add one to all dishes.
