Burgers 'N Ribs — Restaurant in Amsterdam

Die Ribs waren einfach die beste, die ich bisher gegessen habe. Better than any Nyama Choma I've tasted home and away. If international deliveries could be factored in, I could eat the ribs every day.

My ribs came with spicy potato slices. There was just something in the spicy sauce that I simply couldn't put my finger to, but that gave it a hot, smoky (yet not burnt) aroma.

Overall- great food. Good portion size (I have a healthy appetite, so the portion should be sufficient for a hungry human). Prices reasonably similar to what I'd pay elsewhere for a meal of that quality. Great music. The weather was "cuddle up at home" horrific, so the kitchen was extremely busy handling deliveries with countable diners on the premises, but I didn't mind the general feel.

Next time I'm in Amsterdam I'll definitely be...

Terrible experience. We went to this place expecting a nice meal, but it was disappointing from the start. Not a single staff member greeted us, no one offered a menu, and no one explained how the service worked. We sat down and waited, only to eventually notice a QR code stuck on the wall — no clear sign or instruction.

We placed and paid for our order through the app, choosing the option to dine in. Even so, they handed us our food in takeout packaging. The food itself was flavorless, poorly made, and absolutely not worth the price. We asked for napkins to clean our hands and face, and were told they didn’t have any.

The service was cold, unhelpful, and felt like we were an inconvenience just for being there. Without a doubt, this was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. I strongly do not...

The restaurant side of this business is wholly secondary to the primary business function of delivery, which is expressed by the muted charm factor in the seating area, inside as well as out. Steel chairs and rickety tables outside, parked delivery scooters, the ambiance is perhaps a bit utilitarian. The restaurant is not easily accessible, you have to look for it behind the windmill, down at the water, next to the brewery.

The bacon burger I had,though, was super tasty, fragrant and juicy. Prepared on the spot by a cook who knows his business it came out just right. Along with a beer I was totally satisfied afterwards, 9 € lighter....
