First time in Amsterdam , this place was recommended by a friend and the place was great the minute we stepped in , staff greeted us with a friendly smile and gave us the menu in English Nice vibes , soft music in the background so we still enjoyed talking to friends and eating The place was immaculately clean the decors was super elegant with style We had mint with lemon drink and it was freshly made and refreshing The manager Shady was so lovely chatting with us and had good knowledge about the food so he recommending dishes We ordered different dishes and all were super tasty , original kebab came with rice , laham ajieen, arayis , chicken cubes . The rice was oily but still fluffy and nice . Size of Kebsb was smaller than usual . Chicken cubes were dry for me but very generous as they put 2 generous skewers the Arayis was nice but for the fist time I order it and it came with cheese and the staff said because Holland is famous with cheese We had Turkish tea and some had mint tea which is only boiled water & mint with no tea super nice It was quiet pricy compared to other Halal restaurants but its fine if you are looking for a nice elegant place We paid at the till so we were able to split the bill between us & pay separately Nice walk near the restaurant with few shops and cafes but no access for cars

Went here last Wednesday for our anniversary lunch. First we arrived on time at 12 noon (we reserve at that time) nobody around so we go insode but the person in the kitchen said they are still closed. We came back 12.20.. I asked about the menu and the waitress doesnt know how to explain their menu. Seems like its her first time.🤣🤣🤣 So ok we just choose whatever. The food arrived very long and the meat also took another half hour. When the meat arrive we are not hungry anymore because the waiting make us bored.😅 To think that there is only 3 tables at that time. And we are 2nd customers. I dont understand what took so long. And the meat is only 2 pieces.🤣🤣🤣Also the srink that i ordered libanese limonade is made so bitter and not cold. So I just said I will take home the meat. So she also said they dont have box to bring and instead just gave us a plastic. Like really? She said its finished and maybe next time when we come back we have boxes already. Really? you expect us to come back after that day? No thank you.

we discovered Sallora thanks to our cousin who kindly invited us for dinner. Very welcoming and charming environment. Very nice and nice staff. We chose the 12 course tasting menu to sample more dishes and it was just amazing! the quality of the food is high and the prices are in line with this. from falaffel to skewers from humus to vegetables we liked everything! The interesting thing was to discover that by choice the owners decided not to serve alcohol and I must say that the non-alcoholic mojito and the non-alcoholic piña colada are really excellent. last but not least the desserts which are simply outstanding. we tasted the cheese cake, ice cream, tallia, and rice pudding .... beautiful and delicious !!!

We absolutely loved the food! I would love to see more variety though! The Levant cuisine is very rich. HOWEVER, the service was bad! Nothing personal here but I care and I would like to share my honest opinion. A waiter/waitress should know what goes in the food, they should be aware of at least the main ingredients of the served items. Another point should be the communication, a smile, a story, a joke, a special moment, a host/waiter with positive attitude, all that is crucial for the success of any restaurant! Train people on better communications, on how to handle a complaint effectively, on how to solve an issue without making the customer feel bad for asking for something legit to be fixed! Train them on how to manage their stress on the floor when orders might get overwhelming! The things that happened to us during the service: We were welcomed by "do you have a reservation?" Nothing else was said! Hosts were very pushy to take our order as long as we sat. Bread took a long time after the starters were served, so we were basically just waiting and looking at the dishes! - better to sync the timing. A host didn't know if the juice is usually freshly squeezed - the pomegranate juice was really bad and didn't taste fresh and very diluted (for a 9 euro glass of juice, anyone would expect something proper, right?). I was given some "B face" for asking to pack things to take away.

A good ambience and good food would feel less vibrant and lively if the people working there couldn't contribute to the setting with their own proactive energy. I hope you take my feedback positively - and I want you to know that I'm not a Karen! just a hospitality expert.

I'll visit again as I'm exploring that part of Amsterdam nowadays and I hope I'm going to rank up the...

Service:** The restaurant service was exceptional, as we were greeted with a friendly smile by the staff. The wait staff were professional and attentive to details, as they were always present to fulfill our requests without being annoying. The speed of serving orders was good, especially with the large number of customers. In addition, the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and were able to provide excellent recommendations to suit different tastes.

Food: The food was delicious and carefully prepared. The main dishes were rich in flavors and fresh ingredients, with a great balance between the ingredients. We started with tasting the appetizers, which were delicious and perfect to start the meal. The main dishes were plentiful and served in appropriate quantities, with a variety of options between meat, fish and vegetables. The desserts were a great ending to the meal, as they were innovative and delicious without being heavy.

Environment: The restaurant decor was elegant and comfortable, with dim lighting creating a warm and calm atmosphere. The soft music in the background added a touch of relaxation without being annoying. The cleanliness was top notch, reflecting the management's interest in the customer experience.

Overall Rating: Overall, the restaurant provided an excellent experience in terms of food, service and atmosphere. I would definitely recommend visiting it for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a comfortable environment with high-quality service. Final Rating:...
