The food and wine at Lazuur was delicious. We enjoyed all of the dishes and also the madeleines that came with the bill were amazing. Our only issue was the pace of the evening. It took a long time to take our order and despite arriving at 18:45 we got our main course around 22:00 so it was a long evening. I suspect there was a new waiter assigned to our table and were unlucky as others who arrived later received their dishes quicker. Would like to go back again.

We had such a lovely experience. The dishes were beautifully put together and the combination of tastes were amazing. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly. They were passionate about their port collection. I long for the honey dessert. It was the best dessert I’ve had in a long time!

Un’esperienza culinaria fantastica, assolutamente da ripetere. La mia visita del 14/02/2024 si è distinta per i sapori complessi, ma ben calibrati e armoniosamente combinati in piatti deliziosi. Consiglio vivamente questo ristorante, specialmente per l’ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, raro per locali di questo livello. Il personale, estremamente gentile e simpatico, ha reso la nostra serata indimenticabile, consigliandoci con competenza. La possibilità di gustare fino a 6 portate in tutta tranquillità, accompagnate da un’eccellente selezione di vini, e di rimanere seduti fino alle 23:00, è stata una piacevole eccezione alla norma qui in Olanda, dove spesso si è invitati a lasciare il tavolo prima. In questo ristorante, mi sono sentito veramente come a casa. Un ringraziamento speciale per un’esperienza così gratificante!

Best dining experience since a long time. The restaurant is located in a cute urban square in Adam North. We went for the 5-course chef’s menu, which were a 5 great! Kickoff with oyster mushrooms, then duck liver, a great bacalao dish, and red mullet, finally closed with a tasty dessert (see pic). The owner was very spontaneous and knowledgeable. This place is absolutely recommended, with I believe is a good value...

Omdat ik in het verleden al meerdere malen naar tevredenheid bij Lazuur had gegeten, besloot ik op 2 april 2025 mijn verjaardag in dit restaurant te vieren. Ik woon in Amsterdam-Noord en kan daar inmiddels kiezen uit een keur aan goede eetgelegenheden, maar koos voor Lazuur omdat het beperkt van omvang en (dus) minder lawaaiig dan de rest is. Die middag hadden we onze komst nog herbevestigd maar door omstandigheden arriveerde ons groepje van zes personen ongeveer 20 minuten te laat. We werden zeer ongastvrij ontvangen. 't Gaf ons het gevoel niet welkom te zijn en dat terwijl het die avond beslist geen volle bak in het restaurant was: er zaten twee gasten en er kwam alleen nog maar een tweetal bij! De ober liep ongeinteresseerd/onattent rond en antwoordde op onze vraag of hij misschien boos was: "Zo kijk ik altijd." Het eten was, zoals ik gewend was, weer verfijnd maar de bediening was niet zoals voorheen. Daarbij kwam nog dat de verwarming niet of veel te laag stond; wij zagen ons genoodzaakt onze jassen aan tafel aan te doen want op onze klacht kwam de ober slechts met een plaid aandragen - meer kon hij niet vinden.
