As from the outside it looked closed, this is because of the mirror glass, a pity because we drove by many times before. Anyway I think its better to make a reservation. We came in without a got a table close to a bar and the music installation which was too loud to have a normal conversation with my table partner 50 cm apart from me. We first ordered fresh mint tea to gather some time to study the menu. They came very quickly, we wanted to have a shared diner, and we had to (!) order all at once. Some excuse about the meat? The firdt course was a Khachapuri Adjaruli ( a boat bread with cheese and an egg joke on top) tasty especially with the stuffed mushrooms with sujuk. A little shame it were only 3 mushrooms and not 4, but as we were sharing... ok. After this we had the grilled chicken shashlik, served at a poor bed of salad leaves but nicely topped with coriander, dille, and forestleeks... a small portion of fries and a Pkhali Platter ( this is a plated with 3 balls, cooked spinach with walnut, cooked carrot with walnut, cooked beetroot with walnut, and two aubergine rolls stuffed with aubergine and walnut, topped with some red berries and sprouts of the pea plant). Then we wanted to close with a nice cup of coffee but there was no coffee, we should have to wait at least 20 minutes. They advised us instead to drink an Armenian cognac... but hé I am driving. The next reaction was total out of order: "you can drink and drive here in Amsterdam". Please do not encourage your guests to do so! If there was no coffee maybe they had Armenian coffee? No answer to this and after all we waited, because we had a good conversation more than 30 minutes for our coffee without any excuse or even a small sweet to it. The experience was nice, but I don't think they will see us here again. The price for the quality and quantity in combination with the services are out of balance. And ohja, I think personally there are more traditional dishes to discover than to put burgers...

I think in terms of service this is the worst restaurant i have ever been at. The biggest issue was with how we were treated when we send back what it looked like a low quality food. I ordered angus burger and not only i had to wait for it for 40 min, but it did not look appetizing, and the taste was not what a good angus burger should taste like. I did not want to make a big fuss so i just send it back saying that it's not tasty. And then it started.... First the waiter came to our table asking what did i expect this burger to taste like. After i explained she left and in 2 minutes she comes back again with more questions, then she left and comes back in few min together with the restaurant manager. A very unpleasant woman who was extremely rude came and said " i do not care what you do with the burger, send it away or eat it but you will be paying for it". I think this is an unacceptable behavior at any restaurant. Of course already out of principle we said that we will not be paying for it and asked to leave us alone to enjoy the evening in piece. Then for the 4th! time someone approached out table, it was already the owner, and i guess he tried to apologize for the behavior of his stuff but it was not done in a pleasant way. Anyway, definitely not going back to this restaurant and besides the awful service the food is average, the music EXTREMLY unpleasantly loud. If i could give -3* review i...

The dolmas and the chicken were really good but four other dishes we ordered were okish and the fries we got served were not really fried (in our opinion). The lovely waitress offered us new fries, we declined so she offered to deduct them from the bill. We thought that was great service untill the manager came with the bill including fries, when we mentioned this she said she was the manager and the only one who could decide this. And she wasn't informed unfortunately so it could not be deducted. We were surprised but paid anyways. Our obvious disappointment and discontent must have convinced her to start arguing with us, since she had tried the fries herself and thought they were fried enough (strange, since she earlier stated not to be informed of the situation). The 'argument' continued way too long after the bill was already paid. After 5 minutes there was an awkward sorry but it was a bizarre situation over some 4.50 fries. If you want to be surprised by mediocre fries and pointless arguments, this is your place to be! The waitress was lovely though and even came outside after we left to apologize to us! Without her this wouldve been a...

Mix of armenian and georgian cuisine. Pork shashlik is average, served without any souce, on a base of mix of salad, koriander, and blue onion. Picture looks better than it tastes. Hinkali is not bad, but I have tried more delicious and tasty for sure. Meat is not properly spiced, but juicy enough. The aubergine caviar is with the somewhat weird taste and aroma of smoke. Friendly personnel, can speak Russian. Parking is quite expensive - 5 euro per hour until 7pm, parking on the street nearby. The venue is in the hallway of the living building. The ceiling is too high and has an industrial look, it makes the room feel "cold". Tables are neat and clean; chairs are firm, average cheap. Interieur is nothing fancy, feels very simple, as for the reastaurant. Definitely worth visiting a couple times though. Especially if you miss shashlik and hachapury.

We shared their khachapuri and 3 khinkhali between me and my friend. Khinkali were very good! Khachapuri….was very decent for the Netherlands but I don’t think it was made with sulugini cheese (likely a mix of a couple of cheeses to try to imitate same flavor and it probably works for people who’ve not tasted khachapuri with suluguni). The selection of drinks was really good - lemonades like duches, tarhun etc and very tasty pomegranate wine! We didn’t have to wait a long time for the food to arrive, service was pretty quick (we were there for a Monday dinner though and the place was not super busy). I would come back there to try more dishes and desserts. What I didn’t like so much is that some tables had very small distance between each other (it’s common in Amsterdam because of lack of space but they have a pretty big space!)

Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, this charming Georgian restaurant is a hidden gem worth seeking out. Their menu offers an appealing variety of traditional dishes, but the khachapuri is the undisputed star of the show. The addictively cheesy Georgian cheese bread arrives bubbly hot from the oven, with a delightfully crisp outer crust and oozing layers of gooey cheese inside. It's hands down one of the most delicious versions of this iconic dish that I've tried. Beyond the knockout khachapuri, the service here also stands out. The staff is incredibly warm, attentive and efficient, making you feel welcome and well-taken care of. For delicious and authentic Georgian cuisine served up in a cozy and inviting setting, this neighborhood restaurant gets top marks.
