Food is good. And the serving staff are courteus. But the restaurant manager - the spectacled guy (Indian?)who receives guest is pretty much annoyed with new guests rather showering his care and attention to his regulars. We were new and hence were given a very flippant almost arrogant 'reception'. Not just that. We didnt want the bottle of water kept on the table as it was 5 euros and preferred normal non bottled water which the waiter brought for us. But all hell broke loose when we pointed how we were charged for the bottle of water that we didn't use. Mr Rude insisted that are not supposed to ask for normal water. Really dude?????? But we didn't know the rule (may I add stupid before rule. Thanks) but your who certainly did could have said that. Well he didn't!!!!! And what justification is that!!!! End of story he so magnanimously said he is not charging though it's against rules. Never going and guys before you open the water bottle call this guy if you have an option not to use this bottle of water and have plain jug of water. The taste is good. They have many choices of Indian foods for you. The curries are rich in spices and intense. The lamb is not that too soft. For people who miss spicy food, you can request how much spicy you would like to have. For Garlic nan bread is quite disappointing because I can not smell even a bit of garlic. The texture of bread nan is so-so. The nan size is quite small. The waiting time is not too long even if it is a busy time. They have many tables available but I suggest you make a reservation for sure. The price is reasonable. The portion is normal. The lighting is good. The temperature is quite warm. We first visited this restaurant five years ago during the height of the pandemic. Back then, it was nearly empty, and the service was flawless — we were blown away by how incredibly delicious the food was. At the time, we wondered if the experience felt so magical because of the unique circumstances.

Fast forward five years, and we made the trip all the way from Purmerend just to come back — and wow, it did not disappoint. The food is just as amazing as we remembered. Honestly, this is hands down the best Indian restaurant my husband and I have ever been to.
