The green hut café — Restaurant in Aruba

Horrible dinner Our first indication of how the evening was going to go was the fact that it was 7 PM on a Saturday night and the Green Hut was empty! The girl in the front was lovely.. the place inside was clean. The positives stopped there. Four meals were ordered and they came all at different times. A one inch round cup of coleslaw added to an order of boneless chicken wings was two dollars! Criminal!! The Green Hut hamburger was at best inedible apparently made with curry, which was not listed on the menu and the meat was white and stringy. Twin beef tenderloins dinner was served with mashed potatoes that were good , cold, frozen vegetables and raw uncooked meat, which they ended up taking off the bill when we said something. Clearly the 4.9 rating and pictures of a crowded place are staged. Not only a wasted evening but unfortunately incurred a $30 cab...

What an amazing experience! This restaurant hit all three of factors for reviewing. Food, Service, and Atmosphere. I would give 10/5 stars if I could! 💕

The food was absolutely sublime! We had the chicken tacos. WOW. Highly recommend! We also had the “Aruba Ariba” cocktail that I have had at other restraunts as well… but this was the best one I have had! Before I chose that, I asked about other options-they had everything! This stood out to me because I am picky!

Esmeralda was an incredible waitress. She was timely, personable and so sweet! Jaffery, the owner came by to check on us he was so sweet. You can truly see he cares for his customers💕

Best chicken wings on Aruba! This Aruban family has been serving up comfort food to locals for 25 years as a snack hut. Chef and owner Jeffrey expanded the "hut" to a restaurant and bar that has a great Aruban vibe that remains true to its roots in the community. Local dishes and international cuisine are served with passion by the staff at a great price. Highly recommend for a taste of Aruban culture...
