Staying at this country inn was a warm and very enjoyable experience. My room had all of the basics and was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were just perfect - fresh fruit, juice, egg an yogurt, with breads, meats and cheese. The coffee was was the best. |Then, there was the restaurant. It was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. The food was excellent. I had pork that was perfectly cooked, as were all of the sides. Of particular note was the service - attentive, helpful but not intrusive. We spent 1 night here because we were meeting friends who were at the campsite close by, and we all visited the Groesbeekse Wijnfeesten.||Got the last room which was very basic, sharing a toilet and shower with 7 other rooms.||The better rooms had unfortunately all been taken by others.||All in all the place is somewhat dated and could do with a bit of modernization, but the center of Groesbeek is walking distance, and so are the Liberation Museum and the Canadian War Cemetery..||The beds were ok, the staff was friendly and a good breakfast was provided, all for a reasonable price.||All in all, not bad, but not...
