Delphi Grieks Specialiteitenrestaurant — Restaurant in Bergen op Zoom

This Greek restaurant has been in Bergen Op Zoom for a very very long time, and has never disappointed me once! The owner is very friendly and still very much involved in his restaurant. You can see him busting tables in the weekends.

The menu is a classic staple of great Greek dishes, and has a good vegetarian selection. Comparing it to local Greek food from Samos, the dishes contain a lot more meat. I guess it's more focused on the Dutch view on Greek food.

Whenever I have dinner I try to leave some space for dessert... But the portions are just that large....

If you have very small kids you might be a bit disappointed about the (lack of) amenities. It does however ofder a big seating...

Super friendly staff who simply were just great. We arrived quite late since we didn't know we're to eat because we aren't from here. They welcomed us in and gave us the classic oyzo, after this we had a great starter and main course. Even though it was late (now we we're really the last table there) they still offered us the option of dessert and coffee but we were good. When we asked the bill they gave us a drink on the House. During the meal the staff was helpful too and the food was delicious, we both took a different lamb dish which both were tender and full of flavour. Really recommend this greek place. Cheers and...

👎🏻A bit loud music combined with many people, was a bit too much sound for our preference.

👎🏻The staff seemed busy and not that interested in their job’s.

👎🏻While ordering, the waitress told us that every meal came with fries, rice and vegetables. I only got fries, and when i asked her for rice/vegetables, she got surprised, but said she would fix it. This never happened. When I told another waitress this after the meal, she said the other waitress didn’t told us correctly, instead of saying “sorry”. I’ve got me meal 5 minutes before my husband.
