Al Pacino's — Restaurant in Berkelland

The service here was utterly disappointing and that is saying it politely.. We wanted up to 20 minutes just to receive the menu.. And left another 20 minutes before finally taking our drinks, which they mixed up for 2 people. When we asked if we could order food also, they said they needed to get another writing pad??! And we were left for another 40 minutes... Before we could even order food.. This is 1.5 hours sitting here in the restaurant.. Without even ordering FOOD.. Finally when the food did come, it was great quality and very delicious.. However not worth the ordeal it took to receive it.. Edit... They were unable to split the bill and they made ME DO THE MATH!!!!! Edit again... The owner started shouting at a group of women because the waiter got the order wrong and wanted us to pay for items that we never ordered. Calling the police...

The owner is a thief. Very dishonest man. I ordered a mushroom pizza, side of olives and one glass of wine. I asked 3 times for a wine list and he refused me. I then asked how much the glass of wine would be and he said 3.50 euro. I feared he would try to gouge me when he refused giving me a wine list. He then asked if I wanted water with gas. I said no, I simply wanted tap water. The pizza was 8.75, the olives 2.50 and the wine 3.50. I also asked onions be added to the pizza. I waited about 15 minutes for a check (I was the only one at the restaurant mind you!) before giving up and asking for it. He tells me I owe him 20 euro! I did the math and said that was not right. He said I owed for bottled water! I never ordered bottled water! I asked for tap! He was filling my glass with bottled water I specifically said I did not want! He is a...

I DO NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. The OWNER is a thief, dishonest and unprincipled. He wanted us to pay for drinks we didn't order or even drink. At the time of payment he didn't even give us a chance to talk and started shouting at us. Even more, the waiters are not qualified to work in a restaurant, service is very slow and they got the order wrong. Each time we ordered something we had to wait 20 minutes.
