During our stay on Bonaire, “Bonaire Culinair” week started! A week in which restaurants can present their finest dishes in a special menu for a preset price. Blue lagoon café was one of those restaurants where they presented a 2-course lunch menu.
Since they are located across Hato Airport, we decided to go there just before our afternoon flight to Curacao. We arrived just after they opened and had a sit inside.
Surprisingly enough, the staff was unaware of the special menu and also was not aware what was included. This we had to tell them and show them on the menu itself. We ordered the Kabritu stoba. Taste wise, the stoba was ok, but the service was not what we expected, so we were a bit disappointed.
