Walked up at 5:47pm when they didn’t open until 6pm. They kindly let us sit immediately and brought out water etc. (which was very much appreciated after a long & hot day). The staff is warm and welcoming. We got the ceviche and seafood soup for appetizers. The soup was great and I highly recommend it. We got several drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, all made by our very friendly bartender/server. Main courses included the catch of the day (Wahoo), the View salad with coconut shrimp added, the coconut curry shrimp, and the fish burger. They all had unique, yummy flavored sauces to accompany the fresh seafood. The restaurant is located just across the road from the ocean. There is a nice view of an old cargo ship and part of the island in the background. It is especially nice at sunset. For dessert, we had key lime pie, which was delicious. Overall, this restaurant stood out for its wonderful, attentive service and tasty fresh dishes.

We visited this restaurant when we arrived to Bonaire on our cruise this past week. My family and I enjoyed lots of rounds of beer and appetizers. The staff were so kind and welcoming. We had a wonderful evening relaxing on the outside patio talking and laughing until it was time to get back on the ship. If we ever find our way back in Bonaire (I’m sure we will), we will be visiting this restaurant again!

Amazing atmosphere. Kalvin makes a phenomenal Bloody Mary! Across from the cruise port! South pier. Friendly staff! Outdoor bar is open when the cruise ships arrive despite the listed hours. Great place for a quick drink before going to the beaches/tours.

We visited this restaurant when we arrived to Bonaire on our cruise this past week. My family and I enjoyed lots of rounds of beer and appetizers. The staff were so kind and welcoming. Our group spent several hours at The View while waiting for our cruise to depart, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our stop in Bonaire! The atmosphere was laid back and welcoming, the beers were cold and flowing, and the view (true to the name) was unbeatable!

What really made this place stand out was the amazing service. The owner and staff went above and beyond to take care of us. They sent out multiple plates of food, including delicious items that weren’t even on the menu! Their hospitality made us feel like locals, not just visitors passing through.
