If you blink, you'll miss Yhanni's. She's located behind other buildings off the main drag. We were the only ones there (4pm Wednesday) so our food was made relatively quickly. I loved the filling (chicken, avocado, cheese) and the sauces (garlic mayo and avocado) but I'm not a fan of the corn flour wrap (the only reason for 4 stars). My husband loved it but I don't like corn tortillas or anything like them; otherwise these were great! This is a great "cheap eat" as each arepa was $10 and one was very filling (about the size of a burger). With 2 sodas, we spent $24 plus I left a $5 tip in the jar.

One of the things we looked forward to when planning our trip to Bonaire was to eat at Yhanni’s Arepas. We were here 6 years ago when she was just a small shack. Now Yhanni has she own casual, sit down outdoor restaurant. The home made (made while you wait) arepas were as delicious as we remembered. Ate there twice on this vacation & bought a container of her home made garlic sauce to take home. Although we loved all that we ate, my favorite is her pork Pabellon. Highly recommended!

Yhanni's Arepas is not easy to find, but you won't mind the hassle once you've tasted her delicious sandwiches. I tried the plantain arepa, immediately regretting that I hadn't bought another one, even though they are very filling. Those homemade arepas are so moist and delicious. I have been craving them ever since! It's one of the best places to eat at an affordable price, and the owner is very nice. Make sure you stop by.

Whoa what a gem! Someone in our group had been before and said we had to go, boy were they right! We went on a Friday and stumbled upon a live local group and there was a buffet. I'm not sure if it's a regular thing but the buffet was unreal delicious. I had everything and it was all amazing. There were like 3 different mini arepas, (I think yucca, corn and flour) every single one was great. Then there was pork, beef, chicken (hot and a cold chicken salad), ceviche (fish and a separate shrimp). All were tasty, but if I had to rank them, I would say fish/shrimp ceviche (mixed together), pork hot (temperature) chicken, beef and the the chicken salad. Again all were tasty I just love pork and ceviche. Then there were sauces, again it was all a blur of deliciousness, but their guac was perfect, they had a tasty garlic aioli and a spicy habanero sauce. 10/10 on every single item. Now I just want...

Yhanni's Arepas is a tremendous food option in Bonaire, IF you're willing to wait. The driveway is very easy to miss, its an alley way that opens into the parking lot for some apartments and the restaurant. There was plenty of outdoor seating for the number of people that were there at about 1:30pm on a Thursday afternoon. It is a very simple menu, you choose what you want in your Arepas and they make it. Very sweet lady behind the counter making the food but she was a alone so be prepared to wait. Food came out very hot and was very very good. The included garlic mayo and hot sauce were very good additions. No indoor seating. Gatorades, cokes and sprites and an assortment of other drinks were available....

What an absolute gem of a place to find in our scuba paradise. We spent 6 days in Bonaire and I'm so glad we happened upon this restaurant on the second day of our trip because we came back for lunch and /or dinner every day following! To find a chill environment with amazing gluten free food was such a delight. I ordered the arrepa with chorizo, plantain, beans and cheese and it was so good. The homemade sauces that they give you to put on the Arrepas are legit to die for. I wanted to take a bath in the green Mayo garlicky sauce I loved it so much. We were grateful that they accepted Visa as well. I highly recommend this place, worth a visit (or two or three) the next time you...
