During my first visit to Tandoor Palace, I was thoroughly impressed, ensuring it certainly won’t be my last. The culinary journey began the moment we opened our takeout packages, which were meticulously packed, preserving the integrity and warmth of each dish—a commendable feat.
The menu offerings were a delight, starting with the murgh basil kebabs, which were succulent and aromatic, perfectly spiced to enhance but not overpower the tender chicken. The butter chicken was a creamy, flavorful concoction that paired beautifully with steaming basmati rice, making each bite a comforting experience. The paneer tikka masala was equally commendable, with its chunks of paneer swimming in a rich, savory sauce that managed to strike a delightful balance between tangy and spicy.
The appetizers were a hit as well. The beef samosas had a crisp outer layer filled with deliciously seasoned meat, while the chicken spring rolls were a crunchy, delightful start to our meal. All the accompanying sauces added their unique bursts of flavor, elevating the dishes with each dip.
Ending the meal on a high note, the Gulab jamun, recommended by the restaurant, did not disappoint. These sweet, syrup-soaked balls were the perfect conclusion to our feast, leaving us all satisfied.
Overall, Tandoor Palace delivers an exemplary dining experience with its combination of flavorful dishes, attentive packing for takeout, and a menu that caters wonderfully to lovers of traditional and modern Indian cuisine. I am already looking forward to...
Read moreTantalizing tastebuds, sensational sweets, and an awesome ambiance are the descriptions conjured when I describe my dining experience here. I staked this place out when I went to rent a scooter. It’s across the street from the scooter rental place so right then I made a vow to come back.
Sure glad I did! The inviting decor and great service did not fall short in anyway.
I took my time ordering and ended up with great dishes that kept me savoring every bite. I ended up ordering desert to go and the next day they were even more great! Yum!
The biggest downfall is the automatic 6% added to the check. No biggie as the tip paid was well worth the friendly service and...
Read moreIndian is our favorite cuisine. We eat at Indian restaurants all over the world and cook it at home. We were excited to see an Indian restaurant in Bonaire.
Our experience was disappointing. The Tandori Platter had almost nothing cooked in the Tandori style and the few pieces of chicken that were tasted more like a sprayed-on chemical version of Tandori. We left most of this dish uneaten. The lamb Rogan Josh was better, but the lamb was questionable and the dish overall below average.
Service was confused with the rotating people bringing the food knowing nothing about what they were bringing and our table sometimes left guessing about...
