Kabul Restaurant — Restaurant in Breda

The staff was unfriendly and we felt unwelcome at the restaurant. We asked for 6 menukaart, got 1. When we asked again, he gave 1 more. He wanted us to take the test menu but we ended up going for a -la- carte menu. He was agitated by our orders. Each of us ordered a main course, and two appetizers to share with 6 pax. The food was average of taste and with stingy meat portions. For x3 pcs of Bite size Sambosa as appetizer, we paid €9,50 for a plate. €19 for 6 pieces of Sambosas. Unbelievable! We skipped the dessert because of the dissapointment! I will not recommend this restaurant at all, in the end we walked out of the door with a stomach full of rice and underwhelming experience! For the price we paid, we could have gone to a better restaurant! Definitely not...

Last night, I decided to go and try something different, to give a try since covid restrictions we know things are not easy for anybody. But what it used to be a nice restaurant now it looks something is missing there, I ordered a menu of 27euros and paid a main course and only ate basmati with frozen vegetables.... 3 pieces of meat with not juice or flavor really small. We paid 70E for 2... Really disappointing. Even the owner was nice but really weak main courses to be...

I had a terrible dinner at this place today. After waiter brought my order I found a worm in my meal. It's inappropriate for the restaurant. Totally do not recommend this place for a visit.

--Update four years later-- My photos of the plate of rice with a worm in it were removed. Apparently, the restaurant tried to take it down, and they managed to do it. I noticed it only recently, so I am uploading the photo...
