Had both lunch and dinner here on numerous occasions. Great menu, attractively presented with well sized portions: satisfactorily full after the wonderful Vijverpark salad or pokebowl at lunch - dinner equally good. Friendly service and well looked after, even when they are busy.

Tijdens onze vakantie op de Brunsummerheide om de hoek in Brunsum neergestreken voor een diner. Bij binnenkomst was het erg rustig, wij werder hartelijk welkomgeheten door het personeel. Allereerst op tafel de bierkaart, wat een assortiment aan bieren. Zowel uit de vles als op de (wissel)tap. Tot zoveel dat ik even na moest denken welke het moest gaan worden. Bij het ontvangen van de menukaart was er een grotr keuze in gerechten waar de mond van volloopt. En het smaakte heerlijk, de spareribs gleden zo van het bot af, de saté was heerlijk en zelfs het kindermenu (voor de kleine eter ;) ) was super. Dit alles met goede en vriendelijke bediening. Een aanrader!

Gisteren het eindeloos genieten menu gekozen. We vierden onze zilveren bruiloft en zijn echt in de watten gelegd! Heerlijk eten, alles even vers. Het ene gerecht nog lekkerder dan het andere. We zijn de kok dus maar even persoonlijk gaan bedanken🤗. Een verrassings dessert voor ons jubileum werd door de kok aan tafel gebracht, dat beetje extra ...super! Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het concept wordt duidelijk uitgelegd en er is tijd genoeg om van al het lekkers te smullen. Ons tafeltje was (op verzoek) gezellig versierd en de Prosecco stond klaar. Grand café Brikke Oave is echt een aanrader! Gezellige ambiance, knus , fijn personeel en goed eten!

Plenty of choices on the menu, though mostly deep fried food and sandwiches. Prices are a bit steep but manageable and the staff is friendly and attentive.
