YUM! If you visit Curacao, this little gem is a must. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, tucked into a residential area, but do not let that put you off. The flavors and freshness of the food and the low prices made this meal my favorite so far on the island. Expect a wait for takeaway. The food is made fresh with love and it is worth it. We had the shrimps (cooked in a heavenly garlic sauce with onions), beef tenderloin, and beef stoba. The coleslaw has a hint of horseradish; unique and so delicious. L'Eskinita D'Gavilan is a hidden gem tucked into a local neighborhood in Punda, just a short walk from the Avila Hotel — and trust me, it’s a must-visit if you're craving authentic Caribbean flavor!

The food is made to order with fresh ingredients, local love, and island spices. I had the shrimp, and it was absolutely perfect — flavorful, juicy, and cooked just right.

Wir wohnen in der nähe, und wollen auch gerne das Leben und das Essen weit ab vom Tourismus erleben. Karte geöfnet, und da war diese unscheinbare Restaurant. Ich bin sehr begeistert. Die junge Frau hat super Englisch gesprochen und konnte voll und ganz auf uns eingehen. Auch wenn ein paar Dinge vergriffen waren, haben wir durch ihre nette Art schnell alternativen gefunden. Die Getränke waren super kalt und schnell aufgetischt. Im Grunde erinnert es an eine urige Kneipe mit lokalem Essen. Meine Frau hat den Red snapper bestellt und ich die Spareribs.
