As soon as I saw the menu I was leaning towards a 4 star maximum review, simply because of the pricing for the individual tapas-style dishes, plus the comment at the top of the menu that every person should/would eat ‘2-3’ dishes. Eating out in Curacao tends to be a bit expensive, but this seemed excessive…

As it turns out, this was the only thing on the menu that was wrong. I was there with a group of 4, and we started by ordering a dish each, as well as 3 of the filler dishes (much cheaper, although still relatively small portions).

Choosing was difficult, as all the dishes sounded delicious and innovative. On the back of the menu was a clear list of all the potential allergens in each dish, which made the selection much easier than usual for the gluten/lactose intolerant individual in our group.

The drinks menu is extensive and fun. Our order was taken by a very friendly individual, who was attentive even though they became quite busy by the time we left. Ambience is great - we, addicted to AC, sat inside/downstairs, but upstairs/rooftop is relaxed and comfortable also.

The food arrived, and every dish was not only uniquely delicious, but was also sufficient for each of the four of us to have a useful helping.

We ended up ordering just two more dishes between us all, which we barely managed to finish, still leaving just enough room to share a single dessert.

So, 1.5 dishes per person, plus sides and dessert, was more than enough, and made the bill quite reasonable. Considering the delicious, varied, food, the fun drinks, and the great ambience/service I can highly recommend this location for anyone seeking a quality meal in a relaxed yet fun...

On my recent trip to Curaçao for a friend’s birthday, I visited SoI95 and the staff was super rude with unnecessary attitudes. I completed my reservation the day prior and there was no option to reserve the rooftop on the website, so upon arrival for my 6pm reservation I asked the host if I could I be seated on the rooftop. Now mind you, I was the first guest there at 6pm, and the host reluctantly accommodated my seat request and sarcastically informed me that I should’ve done that online. I explained to him that on my end I didn’t see any preference for seating when booking. Next, the server came over with the same attitude and sarcastically read off the menu options. This was baffling to me cause I hadn’t even had any interaction with the gentleman, however was receiving attitude. Bottom line, if it wasn’t for the rooftop views, I would’ve initially left the establishment before I was subjected to such attitude as soon as I walked into the door.
