IKEA Restaurant Delft — Restaurant in Delft

I recently visited the Ikea restaurant, and it was a complete disappointment. Firstly, the place was incredibly crowded, making it difficult to even find a seat. The cleanliness left much to be desired; it felt like I was navigating through a maze of spilled food and debris.

To make matters worse, the drink machines were out of order, leaving thirsty patrons with no options but to endure the long lines at the understaffed counters. Speaking of lines, they were unbelievably long, with wait times that made me reconsider if the meal was worth it.

And when I finally got my hands on some food, I wish I hadn't bothered. The quality was abysmal; it tasted like something I could have microwaved at home for a fraction of the cost. I regularly visit the IKEA Delft restaurant, and with the customer (family) card a free cup of coffee always scores. Sometimes a breakfast, sometimes a lunch / brunch. The available toilets are free. The staff present is nice and helpful. There are plenty of free parking spaces available. I even saw possibilities for charging cars and e-bikes. A little further walk there is even a possibility to park trucks and coaches...

They charge a fair price for the quality of the food. One euro for a hot dog is completely appropriate, and so is one euro for ice cream.

However, there is rarely any available seating, and it is very busy. The place is also understaffed, and the staff that there is, are overworked and clearly stressed.
