Knus — Restaurant in Delft

Unfortunately had a bad experience in otherwise lovely place. The location and layout are great but service is dire.

I asked for menus in English, so told they'll be brought to our table. Later when I asked again I was told there was no English menus.

Portion sizes were small for the price, more a cup of soup than a bowl, and lunch options close at 16:00 exactly, so I couldn't get what I ordered because it just crossed that time.

I asked for a coffee that came quickly but without any sugar, when I eventually got the waitress attention she pulled one sugar packet from her jeans pocket and dropped it on the table and walked away.

Getting any attention is very difficult. In any good cafe the staff are always looking around, seeing if they can help, here everyone looks down and straight ahead. I don't like to shout for attention.

My daughter had a babyccino; a small cup of steamed milk, no choco powder, no marshmallows, no cinnamon. I couldn't understand how a small cup of milk now costs E2.50!! Please make an effort for...

I looked into this place for a wedding next year and I must say it is simply fantastic! The place has so many great possibilities to hold a wedding outdoors, no matter the weather. I also really liked the paddle boats and the nature surrounding the area is just beautiful. The owner was very sweet, professional, enthusiastic and transparent with us. He has so many possibilities and they treat you very warmly. Unfortunately we did not choose this location because of change of wishes but we will definitely come here again for their lunch and hosting other events. I can't rate their food yet but I will soon. The idea is good but it could be a lot better. I’m sat here eating the food as I type this. The price/quality ratio is poor. Expensive mediocre food. Sugary drinks served with more sweets on top without asking permission to give sweets to my child. The soup is very salty and the tosti’s (which shouldn’t be hard to make) are quite bland. We shan’t be coming here for more than coffee and cake in the future. The two stars I’ve left are for the surroundings.
