Horrible staff, plain rude and no understanding for medical issues and peanut/nut allergies. We were with a group of 11 ppl and decided to order Chef's surprise menu for all... They refused to tell one of our group what the meat or fish would be eventhough this person has medical restrictions of what she can eat. If she could provide a list of what couldn't be served (or waiter said: a list of what you don't like... as it was bs and she was a 5yr old who doesn't like anything while we made clear it was a medical thing). That would have been a long list. They kept on refusing and pushed that person to order a la carte in a very rude manner which seemed more like fighting the customer. Followed by serving pesto in the main to the person with peanut/nut allergy. Really?????? And again fighting us (without wanting to drop the subject) when dessert did contain at least traces of nuts...; that there was absolutely nothing in there, she checked with the chef before serving it, and if there was they would not serve any other dessert because everything could contain traces of nuts even in other courses so waiter refused to offer any alternative. Grand Café Marktzicht is pas geopend 13 Juni 2108 en wij mocht hier als eerste eten. En niets is te veel en voor ons een echte aanwinst voor Langedijk, voor lunch of diner, echt een mooie locatie, compleet veranderd maar geen consessies zijn gedaan werkelijk mooi heerlijke tafels en stoelen, en veel verschillende tafeltjes rond vierkant lang of kort of apart voor groepen maar ook voor stelle voor iedereen een speciale tafel naast een brede bar waar ook naast het drinken van een borrel je ook van een diner kan genieten. En dit tot in de late uurtje, eten is gevarieerd en echt heerlijk wij lieten ons verrassen door de kok. Heerlijk alles was top voorgerecht tonijn met een speciale mouse en hoofd gerecht was nog lekkerder ik zou zeggen probeer de verrassing van de kok maar, het was de eerste dag voor iedereen. Maar echt een bezoek waard. Wij komen zeker vaker, top terras en vriendelijke bediening. Kortom een aanwinst voor het dorp. Eindelijk een echte Grand Café waar alles klopt. Succes verder...
