Cafe Anadolu — Restaurant in Eindhoven

I’ve always biked passed this place on my way home and the building and it’s lights give off a lot of friendly vibes, the parking lots are often full and what I can see from outside there’s some ✨Ambiente✨ to be seen!

I’ve noticed people playing dominoes from outside, and was hoping they might have a pool table, but alas.

A friend and I made our way over as most places in the Woensel/Strijp area close at midnight and Anadolu is open till 2 AM.

We nervously walked inside and were pleasantly surprised at how calm and open the bar is; in places like this with a regular crew of people I usually expect some awkward stares when finding a place to sit, but here it was nice and comfortable from the start!

We had some beers and enjoyed talking while the music was present but not too loud, the environment very relaxed and homey.

What was supposed to be one beer ended with us pushing against closing time and striking up a conversation with the bartender. They have personalized waterpipes for their regular customers!

I can really appreciate the atmosphere of this pub; it’s relaxed and welcoming, they have a certain target audience in mind but are open to everyone and won’t chase down hypes to attract more people.

In the mornings it’s more of a coffee house and in the evenings it’s a nice place to unwind with some dominoes and a beer, lots of folk from DAF. There’s also a couple of slot machines.

I’m glad to have had a chance to come here after eyeing the cafe for about a month! Do recommend for a chill night in...
