The food!? I wouldn't know. It never got delivered. I came home late from work and ordered something around 19:00. I was waiting for over an hour, so I decided to give a call. They told me that it had to be made still, and they were on it. So I decided to wait some more. Another hour passed, and suddenly it was considered delivered on the app I was using. So I called them up again to ask why, and they said they still had to make the food, and it wasn't even in the oven, and it would take another half-hour. I had no more faith in it after calling twice and wating till 21:00 for my food, to have it, if it was ever ready to be deliverd close to 22:00 or later. So I asked them to cancel the request, as I wanted to eat two hours earlier, and I had to head to bed to get up early the next day. For once I wanted to treat myself to some fastfood. These are traits typically honed in Five-Star environments and not casual pizza places. His capacity for service orchestration under pressure was noted. Hospitality's premier luxury groups would benefit from cultivating...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible service. I placed an order through the New York Pizza app, and it instantly showed as if it was already delivered. I called the restaurant multiple times—no answer. I waited over two hours and got nothing.
This isn’t the first time either. For previous order I waited hours for an order only to get a lazy WhatsApp message saying the shop was “closed due to technical issues” and they couldn’t deliver. No timely notice, no phone call, nothing—just wasted my time.
It’s clear this location doesn’t care about customers at all. No communication, no apology, no accountability. After years of ordering from here, I’m done. I will never order from New York Pizza Willemstraat again. If you value your time and money,...
