I might have a different opinion to the rest as this was my first time visiting the place and would be the last time too. But I would like to use the opportunity to share what went wrong. Firstly the online system of reserving a table doesn't work. When I called to confirm my reservation, I was told that they didn't receive my request. Nevertheless asked me to drop by 15-20 mins later than the requested time. Based on this info, I made my way and almost reached there where I received a call again saying that it was very full as it is a Saturday evening, nevertheless they asked if I was ok to sit at a bar counter. I still agreed thinking that yes Saturdays would be busy so I don't mind sitting on a bar counter. From now everything went wrong, I saw an utter chaos with only two people handling at least 50-60 customers. I asked for the menu twice, and after 20 minutes was given just the menu. In 30 mins they came to take my order. Another 30 min passed, and one employee after an hour of waiting asks me what is my order and did I even place an order? I replied yes and it was almost 30 mins ago. Then I get the blatant response, one of their equipment is not working. After an hour of wait (excluding my 40 mins of travel time) , I decide to not wait any longer and walk out of this chaos. Clearly they didn't have the bandwidth to serve an additional customer. If that was the case, I would have spared myself the effort to even get there in the first place. They could have openly communicated that it was not possible for them to accommodate any more guests. Hated this on their part and swear never to...
Read moreI recently reserved a table for 5 people via The Fork under a 30% discount offer. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing.
The food was average, except for the Paneer Angara, which was quite good. We ordered drinks, a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian starters, three main course dishes, and breads.
The prices were noticeably higher compared to other similar (or even better) Indian restaurants in the Netherlands.
When we asked for the bill, the discount was not applied. After reminding them about our booking through The Fork, the staff initially said they would adjust it. However, they came back with just a €6 discount on a total bill of €166.
Their explanation was that the discount applied only to à la carte items and not to “combo meals.” This was surprising because when we ordered, it was never clarified that dishes were considered part of a combo. In the Netherlands, it is common for main course dishes to be served with complimentary rice or naan — there’s a big difference between “complimentary” and a “combination meal.”
I tried explaining this to them, but they were not willing to listen.
Overall, I felt misled and cheated. Would not recommend this place based on...
Read moreI recently visited Indian Tapas in Eindhoven, and it was an absolute delight! The restaurant beautifully combines authentic Indian flavors with a modern tapas-style concept, making it perfect for sharing and trying a variety of dishes.
The butter chicken, paneer tikka, and garlic naan were outstanding — rich in flavor and perfectly spiced. Each dish had that homemade touch that’s often missing in other places. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made great recommendations based on our taste preferences.
The ambience is warm and cozy, with soft lighting and Indian music in the background, creating a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. It’s a perfect spot for both casual dinners and small celebrations.
Prices are quite reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and the food presentation was impressive.
Overall, Indian Tapas Eindhoven is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine with a creative twist. I’ll definitely be...
