Mad Batter — Restaurant in Eindhoven

We found this place by chance. It is inside the commercial area, in front of Jumbo.

The space is neat, soft music, fast&friendly service, tasty and not expensive.

Specialized in pastry and desserts but also with Cafe options (with some indian options!) we took a try on this: mainly good, and approved by the indian foodie community.

We ordered Vada Paav (4.5/5 ⭐) and some Chai (Indian tea with milk) and we like it! For this, you should know the Vada Paav is a potatoe based patty and taste good with the spicy sauces they place with it. Warning: if you are not spicy tolerant then avoid the spice and chili.

The chai's were good: good taste and gives you a break from the common coffe.

I ordered some extra Latte's: all good, fresh and good size. I am not a big fan but I liked the flavour of all of them.

All was so good that I also ordered a portion of Paneer Puff to take away (no pics): OMG, it was good!. This one was approved by some indian friends and also by who writes this memories.

One detail on the service: if well the service is nice and friendly, they are usually working in the backstage so you need to ring the bell they placed in the counter. Many customers (at least 5 we counted while we were eating) went away because "there was no one available". This is a small point to improve and also tonget more sales and customers!

Thanks a lot for the good indian taste we had! I promise I will come back for more Paneer...

I came across Mad Batter in one of the events in Eindhoven, and tried for the first time their cup cakes and I must say they were heavenly.. such delicious and yummy cupcakes and mind it that they were eggless.. And then the next time tried their Rasmalai cake which was out of the world.. no words to describe how tasty it was.. And seeing all this I decided to order a cake for my husband’s birthday and it was ready on time and yet again they were true on their service in terms of taste, look and experience.. I had also ordered their Christmas hamper box which had different types of cakes and brownies.. it was yet again delicious and also they did a home delivery which was a very special gesture. I am now a regular customer of theirs and never have been disappointed by any service from them !! Just love them and...

We ordered the Royal Rasmalai cake, a Vanilla cake and several chocolate cupcakes with multicoloured frosting. Mad Batter was great in their communications with us, explaining what would best suit our requirements, and did their best to decorate the cakes as we preferred.

The Rasmalai is particularly impressive, and we were delighted with the fact that the crushed pistachios, dried rose petals and other goodies were not only on the top of the cake for decoration, but also studded throughout the cake for that extra flavour.

This in no way diminishes the lovely vanilla cake, or the cupcakes which alone were beautifully flavoured too. All in all, highly...
