De Branderie — Restaurant in Enschede

Felt like the servers didn't really know what they were doing, things like not knowing dishes or keeping the menu on the table after I had to get it myself from another table. This is all not too bad, everyone needs to learn. However, the worst sin in life is having to pay for the toilet, which is a thing here. McDonalds and KFC I can understand having this for some extend, but a dine in place? What!?

The food was average to good, I liked the pulled pork sandwich but it was a little overseasoned while the soup was barely seasoned at all. Prices were also higher then I was expecting.

After shopping when you need coffee and cake break, delectable snacks or to sit down in a cosy atmosphere, this place is just perfect. It is located in a busy shopping area of Enschede, with friendly staffs, beautiful interiors and an open air dining patio ( for smokers) , so lovely in summer. Their egg omelette is perfect for breakfast and the apple tarts is perfect with a cup of cappuccino. They have a complimentary mini muffins, too, when you order coffee or tea. Onvriendelijke bediening. Ik vroeg of ze Decafé hadden. Krijg ik als antwoord: "WAT moeten we hebben?" Euh.. caffeinevrije koffie? Dat hadden ze. Kreeg ik alsnog een cappucino MET cafeïne. Toen ze de cappucino brachten wilde ik wat eten bestellen. Ze zou zo weer terug komen. Na 10 minuten nog geen bediening terwijl het mega rustig was. Een andere medewerkster serveerde wat op het terras. Ik stak iedere keer mijn hand op maar ze zag me maar niet. Toen ze alles had uitgeserveert stond ze bij de deuropening om haar heen te kijken. Wederom stak ik paar keer mij hand op omdat ik eten wilde bestellen. Ze zag me nog steeds niet. Toen ben ik maar opvallend gaan zwaaien. Uiteindelijk keek ze mijn kant op. Haalde haar schouders op, keer me schaapachtig aan met een blik van.." WAT MOET JE". En bleef gewoon staan. Uiteindelijk wuifde ik dat ze moest komen want ik wilde eten bestellen. Komt ze aanlopen en vraagt aan me wat er aan de hand is?????? Nou.. wat er aan de hand is... is dat je niet oplet, ik iets wilde eten bestellen maar door haar gedrag heb ik maar afgerekend en ergens anders gaan lunchen. Ik kom er...
