Pizzeria Rossini — Restaurant in Groningen

For more than a year, I've had good experience with Rossini because for the takeaway pizzas you only pay 7,50 euro EXCEPT for the ones that are cheaper than 7,50 euro (e.g. Margarita pizza you'd pay 6,20 euro).

However, when I went to pay today and pointed out that we had one pizza that only cost 7,20 euro, the owner completely lost his temper and started yelling at me. He kept telling me that ALL takeaway pizzas cost 7,50 euro but when I pointed out my previous experience he simply asked me to read the rule again without explaining why. What was more infuriating was when he said that ONLY I had to pay all the takeaways with 7,50 euro!! He suggested that as the boss, he is entitled to impose whatever rules he pleases... I left feeling discriminated, confused and sad. I don't think this is the way you treat your customers, even though it's only about 30 cents the difference. If you changed the rules (which you are allowed to as the owner), you could explain nicely without having to shout and making your customer feeling discriminated.

I don't deserve to be treated this way and what I experienced today was completely NOT acceptable! For all the ones who still go to Rossini, I just hope you won't experience what I went...

5★ pizza, but the chef/owner's attitude yesterday was completely inappropriate! Arrogantly shouted at us after we pointed out they charged us more than usually. Instead of explaining to us the supposed change in pricing (or admitted they were just charging us wrongly in the past - all take away pizzas are 7.5€ apparently, even if it costs less), he went on with arguing and even turned it into a personal attack (discrimination) on us (saying "only you have to pay more for the 7.2€ pizza"). Hell, it's not about those 30 cents, the pizza could cost 8.5€ and it'd still be considered more than a fair price. It's about...

De beste pizza die ik ooit gegeten heb, bestel ik hier bij Rossini voor maar 7,50 euro. Dan praat ik over echt een hele verse pizza! Ik bestel altijd pizza Zagalo, met rosbief, verse tomaat, knoflook, sambal, rucola, gorgonzola en vast nog veel meer waar ik geen weet van heb. Echt weergaloos lekker! Tot nu toe iedereen die over Rossini heb gesproken, hadden vooraf hun bedenkingen bij deze pizzeria, maar alle twijfels werden weggenomen na het proeven van hun pizza's. Los van de prijs is dit zelfs de beste pizzeria van Groningen en omstreken.

Heel klein verbeterpuntje: Graag even doorgeven aan Google wanneer jullie met vakantie zijn. Op dit moment staan jullie te boek als OPEN, terwijl jullie antwoordapparaat aangeeft dat jullie t/m 5 september...
