De Polderboom — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

I recently visited the bar for happy hour, and it was an extremely disappointing experience. My friends and I were having a great time, enjoying our food and drinks, and sharing some laughs. However, our evening was abruptly ruined when we were asked to leave or speak and laugh less because the table next to us—who were only drinking Coke—complained about our laughter.

It's baffling and frustrating that a bar, especially during happy hour, would prioritize the complaints of a few over the enjoyment of paying customers who were partaking in the full bar experience. If a bar can't handle a lively atmosphere, it might be in the wrong business.

This was an incredibly poor display of customer service, and I will not be returning. If you value having fun with friends at a place that appreciates your business, look elsewhere.

3rd time i been there and i can say: 1- No professionality of the staff (asking you what they can do for you without even bringing a menu on the table)

2- You wait infinitely to order being peeked sometimes from the staff that surely is thinking “are they still here?”

Visted early this year. Initial review got posted under the name of 'Hoofddorp marktplein'. So here it is for thr correct one. Ordered Risotto with fish and you could taste the canned tomato puree in the risotto with an overcooked fish on top! Disgusting! Some of the servers are friendly and some don't care! Overall, go only for drinks and bites (normal Dutch fare) and not for dinner....
