Den Burgh — Restaurant in Haarlemmermeer

A gem in Hoofddorp that ticks all boxes: quality food, great service and an amazing ambiance. Visiting this restaurant with my team was an absolutely pleasurable experience. Each and every one of us had a lovely time during the hours we spent there and were so satisfied with the deliciousness of every dish!!!

Huge kudos to the team for the decor and the cleanness, kudos to the waiters/ waitresses on their superb service and kudos to the chefs for delivery such magnificent rich flavours on our plates. This was my first but definitely not my last time visiting here. The Rib-Eye Steal, the Mushroom Risotto, the mushroom side in truffles and the pumpkin chips. Wow, just a few things off the menu that I’d recommend having when visiting.

This restaurant can get VERY busy in the sunny summer months as it fills quickly with the local office crowd who are wining and dining their overseas visitors.

That being said, we've usually managed to get a table when we've arrived with our two-year old and dog in tow.

The food is delicious, and the style is akin to a French brasserie. The staff are friendly, and relatively quick (both are novelties in Dutch service standards). The wine choice and beer choice are great. It does err on the pricey side of my wallets preferences, but as destination for dinner as a treat, when the sun shines and we're taking the dog along for the ride, this place is usually one of the ones that will spring to the top...

We had a fantastic dinner at Restaurant Den Burgh. The oysters and tuna tartare were incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The steak tartare was rich and well-balanced. For mains, I had the wolffish — perfectly cooked and beautifully plated. My companion really enjoyed the Angus steak, which was tender and full of depth. Portions were generous but refined, and the service was friendly and professional.

The restaurant is beautifully located in a renovated farmhouse, which gives it a warm and elegant charm. It’s easy to reach, right next to the highway, and there’s plenty of free parking — no hassle like you’d have in the city. A perfect spot for a relaxed and high-quality night out. Highly...
