Most bizarre and negative experience I've had with restaurant delivery in, well, ever. I would definitely not recommend ordering here.
Today I ordered food at Skiko's for myself, my wife and my two young daughters. Estimated delivery time was 47m. After about an hour, the food still hadn't arrived and I called the restaurant, but they didn't answer the phone. I called 5 more time over the next 20 minutes, still no answer. I checked again on Thuisbezorgd, and it said that they were closed for delivery. I assumed the food was no longer coming, and my daughters were hungry, so we fixed something else to eat. A little before 20h, more than an hour and 40 minutes after the original order, the delivery guy came to the house. I explained that he was so late we had to make other arrangements, that I'd called 6 times without an answer and that we no longer wanted the food. He (a 16 yo guy, very nice through the whole thing) wasn't sure what to do, so I asked him to call his boss. What happened next absolutely made my jaw drop as I have literally never been treated so arrogantly by a restaurant. I told the boss that he was very late with the food. He said "we're busy". "Fine," I said, "but I also called 6 times to find out how long it would take, and no one answered." To this he replied (literal reply, no paraphrasing from me): "we're not a call center, we're not obliged to answer the phone". I was flabbergasted by this response so I said: "wait, if you take way too long to deliver your food, people will call." To this he said: "sir, I'm not going to argue with you. You can take the food or send it back, it's all the same to me, but you're not getting your money back." Note that I had at no point in the conversation explicitly asked for my money back. I gave the phone and the food back to the delivery guy, told him he could go and closed the door.
I'm at a complete loss to explain why the boss had this almost aggressive attitude towards me. The lack of customer service, the sheer arrogance of the boss of Skiko's and the apparent expectation by them that customers must wait an indefinite amount of time for their food without being notified of any delays (or the opportunity to inform about them) are,...

Decided to try it for the first time and had the same exact experience. Just don’t order from these people. They can’t be bothered to pick up the phone and to quote the owner in a different review - they feel like “they’re not a call center”.
