I would say the drink was nice, but it wasn’t what I ordered.

I asked for the Matcha Special shown on the board outside for takeout, but what I received was just iced matcha with strawberry. According to the board, it should have included matcha, strawberry, and whipped cream.

The staff weren’t as friendly as the reviews suggested. They were chatting among themselves, didn’t pay much attention to my order, and seemed to rush me—even though the place wasn’t busy. I’m not sure what they were occupied with at that moment.

Al jaren elke keer als we in batavia stad shoppen is dit onze lunch plek, toch was vandaag een tegenvaller. Dit is een van de prijzigere lunchplekken in Batavia stad, en toch.. ondanks ze er met 3/4 personeels leden achter de toonbank staan, waarvan 1 de broodjes maakt en de andere 2-3 achter de kassa staan is het TOCH teveel moeite om aan de tafels de bestelling op te nemen. Wat vandaag erg tegenviel was de gastvrijheid en vriendelijkheid, grof personeel..... een beetje ''cocky'' zelfs... Jammer, want dat zet wel gelijk een stempel hoe je er zit. De lunch was okey... we hadden allebei de zalm sandwich maar het eerste was al opviel was dat het brood absoluut niet van vandaag was, ook niet van gisterne.... waarschijnlijk van eergisteren.. OF van gisteren maar dan gister uit de diepvries gehaald. De zalm zaten veel bruine plekken op, de sla en komkommer plekjes wel lekker en vers.... hoe het in geheel proefde? ja wel okey... maar niet de prijs waard en zeker niet met die bediening.. dus jammer..... of we hier nog een keer komen? geen idee... ik hoop dat de eigenaar dit leest en eens goed naar zn zaak kijkt en zorgt dat de kwaliteit die het 1-2 jaar geleden had terug krijgt.... 1 ster vandaag 2 jaar geleden en de jaren ervoor 5 sterren dus laat ik 3...

Everything is just delicious! You can sit inside or outdoors. Smoking is allowed outdoors. The tables are close to each other so if you're a non smoker and don't want to enjoy your neighbour's smoke it's maybe best to sit inside. Thers also a small chocolate shop with great things for a high tea of as a gift.

Staff is friendly. Tables are clean. Nice place to enjoy your...

Very nice little place to rest from walking around while shopping. Modern and cozy interior. Lots of bonbons and other chocolate treats. Great assortment of cakes to choose from. The coffee is really good and comes in different sizes. Enjoyed it a lot and recommend to anyone visiting Bataviastad. Outside seating is available.

The coffee is really good and comes in different sizes. Enjoyed it a lot and recommend to anyone visiting Bataviastad. Outside seating is available.
