Het Wapen van Raveleijn — Restaurant in Loon op Zand

Thought this would make an extra special experience, but really disappointed and dissatisfied. For €35 per person this is really not worth it, save ur money and go to all you can eat sushi afterwards.

First off the service is incredibly slow, so know that dinner will take at least 2 hours. Meaning that if your there not during the extended park hours that meals this will be the last thing you do in the park, since the park closes at 7:30. For ur this was extremely disappointing as we planned on trying to get at least one more ride since it was a very busy day and the lines ate up so much time.

Secondly, the food was tasteless and not generous at all. There was a bit of bread on the table when you arrive. Then there is a shared appetizer plate with some tiny pickles & meat slices (3 slices per person). For the main there is a one pan meal, with 2 small chickens and a few over cooked vegetables for 6 adults and 2 children. Not sure why they don’t serve fries like every other Dutch restaurant, would have helped tremendously. Dessert was just a basic no thrills apple tart.

Drinks are suppose to be “included” in this price, but the service is so slow, or intentionally ignoring you, so expect to get 2 drinks max.

Love the park, but 100% do not recommend the dinner service option here as it’s not special in anyway. There is no knight who walks by or anything fun, bad slow service, and flavorless food. We all left hungry and won’t...

Do not visit the restaurant if you do not speak Dutch. All the shows and additional kids activities were in Dutch, no English and you cannot follow along. They have no infant menu and charge 32 euro if u order from the actual menu. Ridiculous. The child menu for 32 per child is a spiral potato and a burger that is not a full sized burger but closer to a slider size. Adult menu for 60 pp had one meat option the other 2 were prawn and veg. Drink service was initially extreme. Ly slow. A pro was going straight from show to dinner. The setting was also nice. Service is slow as kids entertainment is on which is fine but by half 7 we just asked for dessert which was a burnt pavlova with fruit. No ice cream for kids. No options. I honestly tried to look past the all in Dutch and very slow service to start but the food was poor and completely overpriced....

Deze plek was wonderlijk. Voor ons zoontje van 5 was het een perfecte avond. Hij is wel fan van Thomas. Zonder kinderen of zonder interesse in ridders / Raveleijn kan ik me voorstellen dat de sfeer minder zal zijn.

We begonnen om 1700 met de Raveleijn show op onze eigen tribune. Als je zover mogelijk naar links kunt zitten en een beetje bovenaan heb je eigenlijk het beste zicht op de show in vergelijking met andere tribunes die we ooit hadden. Het meeste speelt zich namelijk af aan de rechterkant van de arena en dat is voor deze tribune.

Na de show mochten we naar het restaurant en vanaf het welkom tot en met het einde zijn er acteurs die zorgen voor een wonderlijke ervaring. De service is erg vriendelijk en gestroomlijnd.

Het eten vonden wij top. Bij het voorgerecht zit voor iedereen iets. Het hoofdgerecht mag je kiezen en vooral het stoofvlees gerecht was top. Voor de kindjes was er genoeg keuze. Drinken is inclusief en alleen tijdens het serveren van het hoofdgerecht moesten we even wachten met bestellen, maar voor de rest konden we altijd bij onze hoofdbedienster bestellen. Het toetje was, net als het voorgerecht om te delen. Was erg lekker! Voor ons was het eten meer dan genoeg. We deelden zelfs met ons zoontje van 1, omdat hij nog geen eigen menu hoeft te nemen.

De vriendelijkheid van het personeel was echt heel fijn. Vooral richting onze kindjes was er alle rust en tijd. Ook vanuit ridder Thomas die regelmatig aan je tafel komt.

Het is aan het begin even wennen aan het rumoer. Het restaurant is mooi vormgegeven, maar heeft veel zitplekken. Vooral tijdens zang en show is het even herrie. Meedoen is top, maar als drukte tijdens eten niet je ding is, is dit even lastig. Je kunt echter altijd naar buiten en dan sta je naast de Raveleijn Arena. Altijd mooi.

Al met al een zeer toffe ervaring die voor ons zeker het geld waard was. En dat zit niet alleen in het eten, de sfeer, het entertainment of de foto momenten, maar vooral in het gehele plaatje. We zijn van 1700 tot 2030 hier geweest zonder ons te vervelen. En met een zoontje die lastig stil blijft zitten, waren wij zeer gelukkig.
